Senior Designer

Element is a digital studio based in Austin, TX specializing in web and mobile application design and development and strategic interactive solutions. We have a fantastic group of clients as well as a collection of internal products in the works. We're not just a client services company. Nor are we a products company. We're both.

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join our growing team locally. This is a ground floor opportunity within a new company that has unlimited growth potential and an experienced leadership team.

This position is not just about crafting beautiful interfaces and experiences. You will have the opportunity of ownership on a variety of projects across multiple industries and a first-hand view into how a business runs. We are a small team of individuals who are passionate about what we build and relationships we make with our clients. So without further ado, here's what we're looking for:

Requirements:

• 3+ years of interactive design experience
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
• Strong design, typographical, and interactive skills
• Cares deeply about the details and well crafted visuals. You won't leave that icon to wallow forever in a blurry existence.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of design styles, not locked into a personal aesthetic
• Eye for a well-crafted user experience
• Working knowledge of front-end programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Ability to work in a team environment within a small company

Pluses:

• iOS/Mobile app design experience
• Illustration/Storyboarding abilities
• Experience in creative applications such as Flash, After Effects, InDesign, Fireworks
• Working knowledge of back-end/CMS programming
• Experience leading a team of designers
